The most complex object in the universe is said to be the human brain. Our highly complex neural network combined with a large cerebral cortex has provided us with the unique attributes not shared by any other species on Earth, let alone the universe. Our brains have given us the special faculties of abstract thought, symbolic speech and writing, free will, the ability to remember the past and plan for the future, the skillful making and use of tools, shared knowledge and learning, and forming complex societies. No known organism nor any other object in the universe has any of the above attributes. These attributes are widely regarded as what makes us uniquely 'human' and these are in large part due to our large and complex brains.

Every object in the universe exerts a gravitational pull on every other object in the universe. Most of the time, however, these forces are of inconsequential strength. For Venus, the most significant object of influence is the Sun.
