diamonds are the strongest natural mineral, because of its molecular structure, it is the hardest substance known to man but it is not the most durable because if u hit it with a hammer it will shatter where on the other hand tungsten (wulfsten) will never shatter while being hit with a modern steel hammer but it will always be damaged by a diamond. diamonds can not be melted nor can they be altered molecularly (alloys, mixture) but tungsten can be melted and altered. through alteration tungsten alloy are the most durable substances/............ *tungsten boride*

Polycarbonate, or more commonly known as Lexan is the most durable, and versatile plastic. It is clear, and is a great replacement for acrylic or glass because of its clarity and indestructibility.

Here is a great video comparing polycarbonate to acrylic:

Polycarbonate is what aircraft windows are being made of. Other includes; police shields, police face guards, expensive bottles, eye glasses, CDs (low grade and breakable), space helmet face guard.

It is very durable and can be up to 250 times stronger than glass. (sudden impact)
