The Hebrew Bible is our holiest book, while it is through the discussions in the Talmud that the Hebrew Bible is interpreted and understood, and it is according to the Code of Jewish Law (Shulchan Arukh) that we live.There are other examples too, but the above is representative of our most important texts to study.
