The most likely seed dispersal mechanism for an acorn is squirrels. When they begin to harvest the nuts and acorns for the winter they will gather the acorns and naturally disperse them throughout an area. Though many of the seeds are eaten, this i think is the most likely seed dispersal mechanism for an acorn.
