from romeo and Juliet...I am not sure if you mean the literary device surrounding the prose or if the question is direct...since "mistempered" would be considered a human emotion the most obvious literary device would be personification
I am pretty sure at most latitudes. More close to the ground though. At a low elevation or medium elevation. Not too high of an elevation though. I am also pretty sure that Ferns a grown more north. the lowest latitude they can be at is probably 20 North in the northern hemisphere. I am not so sure about the Southern Hemisphere. They Might not even Grow in the southern Hemisphere. Also, ferns grow at 40 - 1800 meters, 131- 6,00 feet. Also, you can try looking up more information under a google search. You can try typing: where ferns are grown, where ferns exist, All About ferns, There Is an article that is called where the ferns grow thanks
Ferns and herbs do not grow in the same situations. Ferns grow in full to lightly shaded areas with moist rich organic soil while most herbs are Mediterranean based and prefer sunny areas with quick draining sandy soil. Planting these herbs in the same areas as ferns will have them rotting and dying within a year or two. Not saying it's impossible. It would just be periods of trial and error to make it happen.
Sophocles included many literary devices that helped tell the story. The most used literary device in the play is dramatic irony. Another literary device used by Sophocles is characterization. In Oedipus the King, Sophocles used characterization to portray Oedipus as the tragic hero. A third literary device used in the play is flashback, which is where the story switches from the present to an event that occurred in the past.
You have left out a word in your question. What I suspect you meant to ask is "What literary device is used to ease some of the dramatic tension that has been established." If that is what you are asking, the answer is comic relief.
