Well, When comic books were released "The Sub-Mariner" was the first comic ever to be sold. But, through the years when the first Spiderman Issue was released that had the most sells ever in comic book history. So, In my opinion Spiderman has sold the most.

∙ 13y agoI believe it's the Harry Potter series. The author of those books (J.K. Rowling) is the world's first milti-billionaire author. Before she wrote the first book in the series in the early 1990's, she had no money, and was flat broke.
The book was rejected by the first 12 publishing companies she submitted it to, but was accepted by the 13th one. I have a feeling the first 12 publishers who rejected her manuscript are really regretting it now.
"Superman" and "Batman" are two of the most popular comic book characters worldwide. The "X-Men" and "Spider-Man" are also highly recognized and beloved by fans worldwide.
