It is called a drought. <- a drought is a period of time without rain, not a natural disaster!
Sorry but the most common is actually a tornado. They happen so often in the United States. Next is Canada for tornadoes. I've been researching them lately so I should know! -RainyDayz
The modest natural disaster is an earthquake. Earthquakes are an unpredictable phenomenon and it's not caused by global warming. They are caused by plate tectonics, which still occurs even before humans existed. Earthquakes releases a lot of energy from the epicenter which causes the earth to shake which sounds really scary. They can also destroy buildings. Aftershocks are the most scary part because they're the most intense part of the earthquake. After an earthquake, they're be a lot of damage which is very difficult to recover. If an earthquake occurs underwater, it could trigger an incredibly destructive wave called a tsunami. Unfortunately, thousands of earthquakes happen every year. Fortunately, not all earthquakes are very strong, they only happen in and near the plate boundary and the plate tectonics will stop soon.
Siince more earthquakes occur in California then all the natural diasters in all of the u.s and Canada, im gonna guess earthquakes
Probably either a tsunami, tornado, or earthqueake
I think you meant to say most common, which comes out to be floods at 30% most occuring.
Adverse weather
storms
earthquake
Hurricanes.
cyclones are the most worst natural disaster
The most dangerious natureal disaster that appears common on earth is often answered as the hurricane, but they are wrong. The most dangerous disaster would be meteorites, since the chance (if homing in on land) of getting hit is 200,000:1. However, theres nothing to worry about as most of these raindrops from hell typically land into the ocean.
I think earthquakes are the most dangerous. You have no warning, and they can do the most damage in the shortest amount of time. A 15-second earthquake can kill hundreds. Most other natural disasters have some kind of warning to them. The only natural disaster I can think of that doesn't give you a warning other than an earthquake is a tsunami.
Yes, a meteor impact is a natural disaster, potentially the most destructive type.
yes
Earthquakes.....watch the news.
Hurricanes.
Tornadoes can strike quickly and sometimes without warning.
Hurricanes and earthquakes are very common natural disasters in the united states
cyclones are the most worst natural disaster
Not even in the top five. The most dangerous natural disaster would be an asteroid strike, which can wipe out all life on a continent. A large volcano might be #2, while a strong earthquake and an accompanying tsunami can spread havoc to an entire ocean basin.
