The 'in' right now is the Charles Owen, and the IRH is just going out of style, but you still see some of them at shows. Get something with velvet on it, no plastic, no adjustable straps of any sort, and stay away from the old school velvet helmets, especially those that don't have a chin strap. Cool in the 90s, but not now.
They can be any where from $25-$75 for a cheap one. If you want a show-y one, a custom pad, or a brand name pad you could be looking at up to $200, sometimes more.
