∙ 13y agoCuriousity is one reason...just to see if they can do whatever they're thinking about. Others might do you to make money. Planting viruses is a type of hacking because you didn't want that access to you computer made available to that person or company.
Some hackers get paid to hack into the company computers they work for to help build a better defense from outside hackers.
