The Devil Wears Prada is the 2006 film based on the book of the same name. It follows Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway), an aspiring journalist, who went to New York and became the assistant of Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), the strict, perfectionist snow queen editor in chief of Runway magazine. After hating the job, Andy completely changes into a fashionista such that her social life starts to fall apart and she is bumped up to first assistant. She goes to Paris with her boss only to abruptly quit when she realizes that she is on the path onto becoming like her boss. She gets a job at TV Guide and realizes that although she quit, Miranda was actually proud of her. The movie also stars Emily Blunt, Simon Baker, and Stanley Tucci.
