There is neuromuscular junction at the joint between nerve cell and muscles. It is a closed cavity. The neurotransmitter called as acetylcholine is released here. One nerve fibers may supply up to 200 muscle fibers in case of large thigh muscle. But it may supply up to 8 to 10 muscle fibers in case of eye ball muscle.
