The mystery part is an item that lets you see legendaries wild in dungeons, but they can only be found on specific floors of certain dungeons....for example: Celebi can only be found on floor 10 of mystifying forest if you have the mystery part in your items bag. The mystery part can only be used after you defeat the final boss of the game (Darkrai), so if you have'NT done that then there is no point in having the mystery part.
