Trireme: It is a ship with three rows of oars, used from the 6th century BC to the 4th century BC. It was light and fas tand easy to manoeuver. Each trireme carried about 200 rowers. A beak of metal was built at the front of the ship (like a battering ram) which could damage and sink the enemy's ship.
