as far as I know there is no farthest galaxy from earth. However There is (Of course) a farthest Visible galaxy. However I do not know the name of this galaxy. (I hope someone comes along and improves my answer to this question.)
The farther out you go, the more galaxies there are, so not every galaxy has a proper name - just catalog numbers. The Wikipedia article "List of the most distant astronomical objects" lists some of the most distant galaxies known.
Exact figure are uncertain. The consensus is about 13 billion light years distant.
The furthest known galaxy is thought to be MACS0647-JD. The galaxy is 13.3 billion light-years from Earth and formed 420 million years after the Big Bang.
More galaxies!
The Milky Way galaxy, in which we live, is about 50,000 light years in radius, and we're about 40,000 light years out from the center. So the farthest away stars are probably about 90,000 light years away.
About zero miles. We are IN the Milky Way Galaxy.
There is not a ''farthest galaxy'' in the universe. But thereslotte is a very far galaxy.
We are in the milky way galaxy.
No, the farthest galaxies from the Milky way are nearly 100000000000000 light years away.
We are part of the milky way galaxy, so we are moving with it.
According to Nasa, The Milky Way (Our galaxy) will crash into Andremoda and our galaxy will slowly wash away.
Andromeda is the cloest galaxy to our own Milky Way Galaxy at 2.5 million light years away.
Well in the middle of the Milky Way is Sun and we are 149,600,000 km away from the Sun so we are not in the middle of the Milky Way Galaxy
We are located in a galaxy known as the Milky Way. It doesn't seem likely that our Solar System originated in a far-away galaxy like the Andromeda Galaxy.
The galaxy that is the farthest away is the MACS0647-JD. It is 13.3 billion light years away.
The nearest galaxy which is not a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way is the Andromeda Galaxy, just over 2 million light years away.
