The name of the ancient Egyptian faith was Kemetic. There was several hundred gods and goddesses. The most important out of them all was Ma`at. She was the goddess of order, balance, wisdom, and truth. It was said that without her, the universe would fall into total chaos. The universe would fall to the goddess Isfet, who would help in creating the necessary energy that would lead to ultimate chaos. The word pharaoh means "Great House". At trials or any event of judgment, her name would be invoked to make sure that the person would get a fair and honest judgment. The symbol of the Kemtic faith was the Ankh, which is by some called "The original cross." Other important gods and goddesses are: Isis, Ra, Anubis, Horus, Osiris, Bast, and Sekhemet.
