Oklahoma's main turnpike, which starts at the tip of Southwestern Missouri and runs all the way to the City & County of Tulsa, Oklahoma is called the, "Will Rogers Turnpike."
Switching gears here: "The Will Rogers Turnpike" was named in honor of the 1920s Hollywood star, "Will Rogers." He was actually born and raised near Tulsa, Oklahoma, and died in an airplane crash over Point Barrow, Alaska back in 1935.
