Perseus
In "The Lightning Thief," Percy's father, Poseidon, is not inherently evil. He is a god of the sea with complex motives and actions that may not always align with human perspectives. Poseidon plays a significant role in Percy's life and journey throughout the series.
sold over 3 million copies of Percy Jackson and the lightning thief. also was #1 best seller for 39 clues: the Maze of Bones
WARNING THIS WILL BE A SPOILER ALERT! In the fifth book "The Last Olympian" it says the yarn cutting is a symbol of Luke's life.
The resolution in "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief" occurs when Percy successfully retrieves the stolen lightning bolt and returns it to Zeus, thus preventing a war among the gods. This act proves his innocence and earns him recognition as a hero. Additionally, Percy discovers his true parentage as the son of Poseidon and gains a better understanding of his powers and responsibilities as a demigod.
I suppose you are talking about who played Percy Jackson in the movie (which was the worst movie based on a book I have ever seen, and nothing anyone will ever say will change that). He was 'played' by Logan Lerman. (Who is much too old to play Percy and was cast because they wanted to make the movie (and complications between Annabeth and Percy) appeal to an older audience.
Percys life
Most people can relate to Percy Jackson because he is the kind of guy that feels left out and alone in life. His father abandoned him when he was born; his stepfather is really mean, and his mother is struggling with money. Most people feel excluded like Percy Jackson.
Percy Jackson does have some problems in his academic life. Most of those problems come from him having dyslexia.
He was in the Disney Channel original movie, "Go Figure" and he played Spencer. He played Luke Castellan in "Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief" and he was Twin Kirk on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, but if you want more info go to: http://www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jake_Abel
Luke Castellan, a demigod, stole the lightning bolt in the novel "The Lightning Thief" by Rick Riordan. He was tricked into stealing it by the Titan Lord Kronos.
Percy is sent to Half-Blood Hill by the quick thinking of his mother as the Minetaur is chasing after him, his mother, and his friend. His mother was reluctant at first to send him to the camp, but saved him by giving up her own life (or so we think) so he could escape into it's magical borders. So he wasn't really sent to camp, but escaped there for his own safety.
He has black hair and sea green eyes like his father, Poseidon. He has features that make teachers believe he is a rebellious and troubled child, although he is actually very good natured. He is sarcastic and opinionated like any average new yorker, but he is also loyal to his friends and brave. Percy's fatal flaw, as stated by Athena, is that he would sacrifice his life and the well-being of the world to save his friends (especially Annabeth). Percy often speak without thinking which can get him in trouble with gods. In the first few books he is described as skinny, unfit, and weak but training at Camp Half-Blood bulks him up as he gets older. As for page numbers I don't have any, but you should look in the first chapter of The Lightning Thief and the chapter about Circe in The Sea of Monsters.
