Red Indians are not real "INDIANS". They are native Americans. People believe they are from Asia, and migrated to the US from present day Russia to present day Alaska, when the Bering strait between Russia and Alaska was not submerged in water.
It was called the Cold War, but it wasn't a war, but a conflict.
The water between Alaska and Russia is called the Bering Strait. In the strait there are two islands, Big Diomede and Little Diomede. belongs to the US and Big Diomede belongs to Russia. They are about 2 miles apart, so you can see one from the other. But both are small, featureless, uninhabited islands. So you -can- see Russia from the US but just barely, and there's really not much to see. actually Little Diomede is inhabited year round
