How tall are the power lines in Ontario?

An ammeter is a measuring instrument used to measure the electric current in a circuit. Electric currents are measured in amperes (A), hence the name

What is different between alternating current and direct current?

Direct current is constant - always in the same direction. Alternating current regularly changes direction; for example, in household current, 50 or 60 times (that is, full cycles) in every second.See the Related Link below for more information about the difference between alternating current and direct current.

Show experiment to prove current flow opposite to direction of electron flow?

In metal conductors, an electric current is a drift of free electrons from a negative to positive. Period! 'Conventional' current (positive to negative) is, as its name indicates, nothing more than a convention -based on an assumption made before the true nature of electricity was determined. In other words, it doesn't exist! So no experiment can 'prove' that conventional current exists because it doesn't exist! The direction of conventional current was based on the assumption, by the likes of Benjamin Frankin, who assumed that an electric current was some sort of fluid which, of course, would flow from a high (positive) pressure to a low (negative) pressure. The discovery of the structure of the atom confirmed that a current (a flow of electrons, in metal conductors) flowed from negative to positive. Think of it this way. When you look at a led display in a waiting room ('take a ticket'), are the illuminated leds moving to the right, or are the unilluminated leds moving to the left? Think of the illuminated leds as electron flow, and the unilluminated leds as conventional flow.

Why the name is FET?

FET stands for Field Effect Transistor. The name FET comes because the gate current of a field effect transistor is zero and current present in the source conductor is due to an electric field produced by the substrate material placed between the gate and the source.

Is their any other difference between ac and dc current?

Yes, there is. AC = Alternating Current, the direction of the current alternates, thus the name. DC = Direct Current. Things like computers need DC (they use a AC to DC converter inside the power supply to convert it) Hope that helps a bit.

A complete path for electricity to flow?

currents can be thought of simply by flowing through a wire, though not always the case. It is convenient to think of current density which is the amount of current flowing through a cross sectional area, like water through the opening of a pipe, since electric current flows through many 3-dimensional objects.
