God was called many names in The Bible. Baptist believe that god is the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. We Call him Jehovah. In many baptist Hymnals, You will find that a lot of Baptist churches singing "Guide Me O Thou Great Jehovah" This is common song for Baptist, Methodist, AME, Presbyterian and many other denominations. Some religions would argue the fact the the christian denominations mentioned don't recognize his name. We all do, but as followers of Christ and out of respect. we call him father just as Jesus did. We believe like that God is the creator of the world and is the father and ruler of everything.

You can't, the Baptists don't recogonzie the Assembly of God as a legitimate church. You have to be Baptized in a Baptist church and then it is up to the Baptist church in which you are a member to give you a liscense to preach and ordain you for the ministry.
John the Baptist was baptizing in obedience to God. God had commanded John to perform what's referred to as a "baptism of repentance," to prepare the way for the coming Messiah. In effect, John was "helping" God, the Jews, and Christ as well.
