Anticoagulants are used for conditions in which the blood may clot too easily. Warfarin (Coumadin) is monitored with PT and INR labs. Hematocrit relates to the red blood cell count, and is not generally focused on when monitoring anitcoagulant function.

Many test tubes use EDTA as the anticoagulant - but there are other anticoagulants used as well. Be more specific if you wish a more specific answer.
hematocrit or hemoglobin test
prothrombin time
C-reactive protein test (CRP)
Hematocrit measures the volumeof packed RBCs as a percentage of blood volume.
Heparin (from ancient greek Hepar, liver)is widely used as an injectable anticoagulant, and has the highest negative charge density of any known biological molecule. It can also be used to form an inner anticoagulant surface on various experimental and medical devices such as test tubesand renal dialysis machines.
Hcg is a pregnancy hormone, often used to determine if conception has occurred. Are you sure they didn't test for hemoglobin (Hb) and/or hematocrit (Hct)? Those are used to test iron levels.
1. INR (international normalised ratio) 2. aPTT
The pro-time (PT) has traditionally been used. Currently, variations in the reagents used to conduct the test are corrected by using a math formula and are expressed as an international normalized ratio (INR).
