∙ 13y agoThe main character is Altair, who is the protagonist of the story in AC, but only in memory accessed by Desmond Miles through the Animus. Desmond continues to access his ancestor's memories of Ezio Auditore several hundred years later in ACII. So, I guess the main character in the AC series is Desmond Miles, despite the fact we hardly see him.
