Who was Oba Eweka II?

Oba Eweka II (King Eweka II) was the son of Oba Ovonramwen, and Ovonramwen was the son of Oba Adolo (King Adolo). King Ovonramwen ruled the Benin Empire from 1888 until 1897 when he was overthrown during the war between the British Empire and the Benin Empire; and the British banished King Ovonramwen into exile in Calabar (in eastern Nigeria). Oba Eweka II was the grandson of Oba Adolo (ruled Benin from 1848-1988); and Adolo's children included Prince Osamwonyi Odia, Prince Olorton, and Oba Ovonramwen. After Oba Ovonramwen's banishment, the British appointed "Administrators" to govern the Benin Empire. Seventeen years later, the British allowed Ovonramwen's son, Oba Eweka II, to be restored to the throne of the Benin Kingdom, after the death of his father in Calabar in 1914. Oba Eweka II, who ruled the Benin Kingdom from 1914 to 1933, was the first king of the Benin Kingdom during the Third Dynasty Period (1914 to date). Ogiso Igodo was the first king during the First Dynasty Period (335 B.C. to 1092 A.D.), and Eweka I, who ruled the Benin Kingdom from 1180 A.D. to 1246 A.D., was the first king during the Second Dynasty Period (1180 to 1897 A.D.). Administrators governed the Benin Kingdom from 1092 A.D. to 1180 A.D., and from 1897 to 1914. So, King Eweka II began the Third Dynasty Period in 1914 after his father (Oba Ovonramwen) had died in exile in Calabar, 17 years after his banishment from Benin City by the British government and monarchy; because the British were the colonial imperialists at the time. Oba Eweka II (1914-1933) was the father of Oba Akenzua II (1933 to 1978) who, in turn, was the father of the current King of Benin, Oba Erediawa II (1978 to date). Oba Eweka II was also the father of the Enogie (Crowned Prince) of Umoghun in Iyekorionmwon, who in turn was the father of Princess Margaret Eweka-Osamwonyi -- (late wife of the General Odionwere of Uselu West, Prince Benjamin E. Osamwonyi) -- who, in turn, was the mother of Prince Joe I. Osamwonyi Eweka now living in the United States.
