The Crusades.
The holy book that Muslims read is called the Quran.
In the early middle ages Arab Muslims controlled Jerusalem. Many Christians went on pilgrimage to Jerusalem to visit the holy land. The Arab Muslims allowed this until the Turkish Muslims took over. When pilgrims visited the Holy land the Turkish Muslims would beat them, rob them and in some cases murder them. The Christians didn't like this and were told by the pope too go and fight, if Christians fought their sins would be immediately forgiven and if they died the would go straight to heaven and they would also protect their land and people and receive land so the holy war began this was called a crusade. Christians and Muslims fought over the power of Jerusalem and this is how the Christians recieved the name 'The Crusaders'.
It Is Called The Crusades They're were a total of 9 crusades
The Quran is the holy book of Islam, believed by Muslims to be the literal word of God as revealed to the Prophet Muhammad. It is written in Arabic and is considered the ultimate source of guidance for Muslims in matters of faith and practice.
Mecca
There is no Malay holy book as such. It seems that race and religion have been confused. Most Malays are Muslims. They embrace Islam and the holy book of Islam is the quran/qoran/koran. Malays can be non-Muslims too. Malay is a race, not a religion. In Malaysia, there are Indian Muslims and Chinese Muslims. Hope it helped.
Israel.
#1....its not Islams...its Muslims...Islam is the name of the religion, Muslims are the people that follow it....& #2...the QURAN
The Muslims wanted the Holy Land because it supposedly was where the Muslim Prophet Muhammad took his "night journey" to Al-Quds, which is the Arabic name for Jerusalem. From here he supposedly ascended into heaven for one night. Muhammad directed his followers of the nascent religion of Islam to face to Al-Quds in the direction of prayer before later telling them they needed to face Mecca (Makkah) instead. Today, all Muslims face towards Mecca for prayer. Jerusalem is considered the third holiest city in Islam, and is the site of the Al-Aqsa Mosque ("The Furthest Mosque"). Jerusalem was ruled by a series of Islamic dynasties for over a thousand years before Jewish settlers came to the Holy Land in what was then known as the Mandate of Palestine and began to colonize it. Muslims want the Holy Land for its religious significance. Arabs want Palestine for an Arab State. Palestinians want a land to call their own.
Yes, it is a Muslim name. It's the first surah's name in Holy Quran( relegious book of Muslims).
The Crusades was an attempt by Christendom to recapture the Biblical Holy Land (Jerusalem and area) which had been conquered by the Muslims. Prior to the Muslim conquest it had been a Christian kingdom.
