Toruk.
There are several flying creatures that can be seen in the movie, but 2 are the most prominent. The mountain banshee, or ikran in Na'vi, are seen often and are the creatures the Na'vi bond with and ride. The large red flying creature is a Great Leonopteryx, or toruk in Na'vi.
It didn't have one. By the way, they were not dragons; the smaller ones with the wierd chins were called "banshees (plural)" or "ikran (plural and singular)." the bigger ones were called "great leonopteryx (singular; for plural add '-es')" or "toruk." For the the other answer from before, "Toruk Macto" was the Na'vi name for any Na'vi that rode a great leonopteryx.
It is a Great Leonopteryx, or toruk in Na'vi.
There are 2 types of "banshees" that are seen in the movie. The ones that the Na'vi bond with and ride are mountain banshees, or ikran in Na'vi. These come in a variety of complex color patterns, including blues. There is a smaller forest banshee, or ikranay in Na'vi, which can be seen and looks to be completely blue with some black markings.
Toruk maybe you should watch the movie again.
It depends on who you are and what you like. Avatar has great filming and such, which makes it a better quality movie to see. However, Twilight fans would prefer New Moon.

Avatar.
"Lux Aeterna" was not in the movie Avatar.
It is about the movie "Avatar" by James Cameron.
Avatar is a science-fiction action movie, with dramatic tones.
It's a great movie, but I thought that there were few things that were accually 3D when I saw it. I could be mistaken, but you never know.
