The Cambrian Mountains is the main mountain range in Wales, running from the NW to the SW, between Aberystwyth and Rhayader. The Brecon Beacons National Park is part of the Black Mountains, which stretch across the top of South Wales, between Brecon and Merthyr, and from (approximately) Hay-on-Wye to Swansea.
