Bass Clef
Treble Clef
Treble Clef
To start off a music note
"G" Clef. It's called this because the little curly thing wraps around the G line on the music staff.
Treble clef. It indicates the position of the note G.
The proper name for the treble clef in music is the G clef, because the clef is a kind of medieval way of writing the letter G. You can see the simililarities in the shape of the clef to the shape of the upper-case (G) and lower-case (g) letters. The curved shape of the clef wraps around the second line from the bottom of the stave as though it is saying something about this line. It is actually saying that any note on this line is a G. Similarly, the "bass" clef is more properly known as the F clef because it is, again, an old-fashioned way of writing the letter F. The two dots above and below the second line from the top of the stave is saying something about this line, namely, that a note written on this line is an F.
who was a famous writer of piano music, was known
No, its basically in the middle of the piano. That's why.
If I understand the question correctly, you should look up the "bass clef" a.k.a. "F clef" this is the clef that cello music is played on, and you should be able to find plenty of sites through Google spelling out the name of the notes on the clef. If you were asking where you could find sheet music, try http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/
It is by Michael Nyman and from the soundtrack to The Piano. I think it is the music 'The Sacrifice'.
the treble clef :)
What is the name of the piano music played in the Expedia-Safari Television Commercial
The lines are called a staff. The staff is what music is read off of. There are two types of ways music is written on staffs. There is treble clef and bass clef. Bass clef is used for lower instruments (i.e.-trombone, baritone). Each line and space on the staff has a different name/note meaning. For treble clef the notes are (from bottom line to top, including spaces-) E,F,G,A,B,C,D,E,F. For treble clef the notes are G,A,B,C,D,E,F,G,A.
