I guess that depends on how you define "leader." There have been, and are, many different leaders and different kinds of leaders on WikiAnswers. The original founder of FaqFarm (what WikiAnswers used to be called) was Chris Whitten. He was the first leader. Then he sold the site to Answers Corporation, and the CEO them was Bob Rosenschein. So he was the leader for a while, of the company, but then there is the question of ... is the leader of the company the same person that is the leader of the site? Anyway, then the company was acquired again, and the new CEO's name is David Karandish. He is the leader of the company, but same question.
In my opinion, there isn't just one leader of WikiAnswers. There are many people that are dedicated to it and who work on it every day... both volunteers and employees. I would say that anyone who dedicates that much time to a site is one of its leaders. Maybe they don't make all the decisions, but they lead by example, setting the philosophy, spirit, and environment of the community that we have built here.
I think Chris Whitten, the creator of WikiAnswers, had a really great idea - why not name him the coolest WikiAnswers person?
