Hades is a term that can be applied to the Underworld (the abode of the dead) or as a name of the God of the Underworld. There are five rivers in the Underworld, but the most well known is the river Styx. The other four are Acheron, Cocytus, Lethe, and Phlegethon.
It is called Stix and Heraculs used it to get Cerberus out of the UnderWorld
The River Styx is the most well known river in the Underworld. It is the river of oath. Charon has to ferry the dead souls across it so they can enter the Underworld. The river Lethe is also an Underworld river. It is the river of forgetfulness. If you touch or drink its waters, you will forget your identity.
Styx is the Underworld river; there is no moon in the Underworld.
Geographically, the underworld is surrounded by a series of rivers: The Acheron (river of woe), The Cocytus (river of lamentation), The Phlegethon (river of fire), The Styx (river of unbreakable oath by which the gods swear), and The Lethe (river of forgetfulness).
People were passed over the "River Styx" to reach the Underworld.
River Lethe.
Phlegethon
Lethe is the Greek Goddess of oblivion/forgetfulness, associated with the Underworld river of the same name.
