The Atrial septum
The wall between the two atriums is called the septum.
Septum
Cardiac Septum
Atrial septum, containing the foramen ovale.
Actually its called the interatrial septum...
Septum means wall and the atrial septum is the dividing wall between the two atria, or upper chambers of the heart.
The interatrial septum separates the left and right atria in the human heart. The tricuspid and bicuspid valves separate the atria and the ventricles.
In turtles, the heart has two atria and a single ventricle partially divided by a wall of tissue called a septum. In crocodiles, there are two atria and two separate ventricle.

Frogs have hearts that are 3 chambers. The ventricle has a thick wall and the two atria have thin walls.
The interventricular septum separates the right and left ventricles. The interatrial septum separates the atria.
This muscular wall of the heart is called the septum. It is a dividing wall that separates the heart into a left and right side. The function of the septum is to prevent the mixing of blood between these two sides.
It's generally a tear in the dividing wall of the ventricles of the heart (internal rather than external)
It is called Atrial Fibrillation
