There doesn't seem to be an officially recognised national food for Canada but a dish that could likely be included is poutine. Also, although not exclusively produced in Canada, some people think that maple syrup could be called Canada's national food.

Canada is a melting pot of international cuisine. A mosaic of regional dishes. Some of the traditional dishes come from regional foods such as Quebec's Poutine or Tourtiere. Nova Scotia's Digby scallops in Canadian whiskey or Newfoundland's salt fish and brewis. West coast salmon and Nanimo bars.

Canada does not really have a traditional food but many people like to eat steak with mashed potatoes
