1. Uphills
Hong Kong is hilly. The highest pek in Hong Kong is Tai Mo Shan(957 metres) and Lantau Peak.Ridges run from north- east to south- west.They are not continous line and broken lines. The slope of uphills are steep.
2. Valley
Hong Kong has little flat land, mainly coastal plains and river valleys. There are flood plains in Kam Tin and Yuen Long in the north- east, and Fanling in the north.
3. Drainage
Except Sham Chun river, which is the largest river in Hong Kong, most rivers in Hong Kong are short.They are of steep gradient until they reach lowlands, having three to four stream orders, dentritic drainage pattern is common.Most of them occupy on fairly stariht valley, the other run on very steep slopes. most of them finally drain into small lowland basins, e.g. Sha Tin valley and Mui Mo. Hong Kong rivers usually have upper course and lower course only, the diision between the two courses would be when water reach the flat land.
4. Coast
The coastline of Hong Kong are long and detented. There are a lot of landforms along the coastline, e.g. offshore islands, bays, headland, peninsular,etc. the largest offshore island in Hong ong is Lantau island.
