Advertising is like doing sales promotion but
1. It creates desires for some people who cannot afford the luxury.
2. The cleanliness of the surroundings is affected because of the posters.
3. It creates a monopoly, making it difficult for other investors to engage into business.
4. It annoys you when you are doing something in to the computer that is why I have to ensure that I have a pop up blocker.

The advertising technique that emphasizes positive attributes while downplaying or ignoring negative aspects is known as "puffery." Puffery often involves exaggerated claims or promotional statements that are subjective and not meant to be taken literally, such as describing a product as "the best in the world." This technique aims to create an appealing image of the product, encouraging consumers to focus on its benefits rather than any shortcomings.
