Normal adult blood pressure is 120/80. Anything over 140/90 is considered hypertension (high blood pressure). A top number (systolic blood pressure) less than 90 is usually considered hypotension (low blood pressure) except under certain circumstances.
120 over 80. It depends on your age and outside temperature.
Between 100/70 and 130/90.
Under, and you are hypotensive. Over, and you're looking at hypertension.
Both are undesirable, but for different reasons.
Adult normal BP is 120/80. A bit higher or lower is normal too.
Normal blood pressure for all humans is 120/80
120/80
The normal blood pressure for 58 year old men is 130 over 85. This is due to restrictions in the blood vessels and their elasticity over time.
very good BP
The normal BP should be 120/80 mmHg.
one hundred and forty over ninety
If your blood pressure goes down to 58, it means it has dipped too low. Low blood pressure can cause dizziness and fainting. If it is not treated properly it could become life-threatening.
140/70
90/58 is a bit low, as 125/70 is considered "normal". Do you drink enough water? Maybe have a talk with your doctor.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As the previous answerer notes, 90/58 is a low pressure reading. The current WHO standard is 120 mmHg over 80 mmHg, with hypertension defined as a systolic (the first of the two numbers) reading over 140 mmHg, and / or diastolic (the second of the two numbers) over 90.A number of 90/58 is below what is conventionally seen as normal, and it is therefore deemed "hypotensive", meaning that the pressure is too low. Although a persons blood pressure should always be seen in perspective of what is normal of that person, 90 / 58 would be considered fairly low by most.Remember though, that although we often hear of high blood pressure as being dangerous, there is also such a thing as a too low blood pressure, which could be a symptom of underlying disease. To be sure, have a doctor review your numbers.
My Blood Pressure is normal, No Diabeties, Im 58 years old and healthy. There is no significant disease.
This sort of thing usually refers to Blood Pressure. Systolic vs Diastolic blood pressure, or, pressure of your blood when your heart is beating and between beats. Whether 112 over 58 is good or bad depends on your age, sex, and fitness.
151 is the systolic pressure , which is the amount of pressure in mm of mercury against the walls of the arteries when the heart beats, the 58 is the same for when the heart is at rest, or between beats. 151/58 may mean you have slightly high BP, you took it at a time when it was higher than normal like after smoking, or you did not know how to take it correctly. If it is constantly elevated you need to adjust your diet, exercise and consider seeing your MD.
