For as long as your doctor prescribes for you to take it and you feel it necessary. If you are suffering anxiety, it is best to treat it so that those issues can be addressed and you get used to not worrying about having an anxiety attack.

∙ 13y agoAs with any prescription drug, the maximum daily dosage varies from person to person based on their tolerance to it, as well as if any other medications are taken with it.
4-10mg/day based on disorder and severity of each case, though of course if you wanted to take "More than prescribed" you can probably take a lot more, but I wouldn't recommend that unless you're just looking to get high.
