I'm pretty sure the max dose is 20mg. If you wan to go above that you take Celexa; which is where Lexapro came from...that can go to 40mg as far as I know...I went from 10mg Lexapro to 40mg of Celexa...it wasn't so great for me. I couldn't hardly stay awake...the sleepiness is supposed to pass....
20mg is the highest dose proven to be effective.
Some prescribers go up to 60 mg/day for depression.
ive just started 10mg of lexapro last week for depression what is the best dosage because its not working
20 mg
10mg
Yes they do. take low dose of both
My doctor actually put me on .05 mg of Lorazapam and 20 mg of Lexapro at night. and I take Lorazapam in the morning same dose.
The highest usual dose for lexapro is 20mg. So 30 will not help you. Sometimes a higher dose is used for OCD, but it probably won't help. Switch down to 20!
Yes. Seroquel and Lexapro are commonly prescribed together. While 600 mg of Seroquel is quite a large dose, as long as that was what was prescribed it's fine.
Lexapro is an SSRI( Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor). Theraflu only interacts with medications known as MAOI's(Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor). Therefore, since SSRI's and MAOI's are two different types of medications, you may take the recommended dose of Theraflu along with a prescription dose of Lexapro.
The Acetaminophen is fine with Escitalopram (Lexapro) Phenylephrine is safe to take with Lexapro, however it can cause anxiety. If you have anxiety along with your depression, Phenylephrine will exacerbate this. Dextromethorphan with Lexapro can, rarely, cause hallucinations. Take Dextromethorphan with caution and in the least effective dose.
can you take lexapro with plexus accelatorplus
That's a large daily dose. Contact your health care provider for advice specific to your situation.
I am not sure, I am trying to figure it out. I take 2000mg of it for BPD.
Maximum Dosage depending on age and for what reason you are taking it. For pain relief a lower dose of 10 - 20 mg is recommended. For Depression/Anxiety/Sleep Problems a maximum of 200 mg can be described. Patients in hospital can be prescribed up tp 300mg through an injection.
It means you should not take more than is recommended.
No you can't... both lexapro and ecstasy are dealing with the same material in your brain - seratonin. ecstasy brings it levels very high, while lexapro keeps it in a controlled level, so the ecstasy just won't work. not taking lexapro that day is meaningless, as the drug is not effective the same day, it keeps a certain level in your blood (which is why it takes 2 weeks after starting taking lexapro to really feel the effects)
