I just got this surgery yesturday. it is a day surgery that takes about 1/2 hour. you are asleep for about an hour when you wake up you are still tired so you sleep I slept for about an hour and a half then I went home. I was there 2 hours before my surgery so was there longer than I had to be but it wasn't bad. During the surgery they pack your nose which plugs it and they say this packing stays in for 8 - 10 days so I would think that would be the healling time but they say not to do any heavy lifting for 2 weeks. So it' snot bad. Like I said I had the surgery yesturday and there was a bit of pain when I woke up. They gave me some pain killlers which made it better and the pain never came back. It is a noying having your nose plugged but in the end I am sure it will be worth it.
I recovered and went back to sports in around two weeks. I went back to school in like 3 days. I had the surgery where they put spilts in them.
