more than 6,000,000
The distance between Marbella and Palma de Mallorca is cca. 750 km.But you should know that Mallorca is an island.
yes they are the same place, majorca is the English spelling and mallorca is the spanish spelling.
mallorca is 5,000 meters wide and has 1,200 people there on holiday and people who live there
The first of the benefits I will talk about is Majorca's economy, today in Majorca 85% of the islands revenue comes from tourism like restaurants, hotels and purchases of goods in shops this is a huge amount to the island which would definitely be a huge benefit to Majorca.Next how tourism has benefited Majorca culture Majorca has a culture of historical places and castles the most famous place being the ruins of the Roman city of pollentia and the money from tourism helps to restore and keep open cathedrals, castles and ruins etc. which helps to keep the Islands culture and history in tact. Other sites of historical or architectural interest supported by tourism include the Banys Arabs, Moorish baths from the 10th century, and the Moorish palace now used by the Spanish royal family for vacation getaways. The popular tourist resort of Pollenca preserved examples of its Roman past for the education of residents and visitors also so not only cultural benefits it also has educational benefits.Conservational benefits, Sustainable tourism receives attention as Majorca's popularity among tourists grows. The Cabrera National Park, established in 1991, is an hour's boat ride south of Majorca. Diving is prohibited and boats must have permission to anchor in the park's waters to preserve the marine environment of the area. In 2005, the island boasted 40 "Blue Flag" beaches, a designation awarded by the Foundation for Environmental Education to beach areas that maintain quality and safety standards. This is because of tourism if there was no or very few tourists this national park would not have been established and its national beauty kept this is also thanks to conservationists who believe that the Islands landscapes and wildlife are most important and they need to be protected.Infrastructural benefits, Facilities established to attract and please tourists also benefit the residents of Majorca. Airlines and ferries run frequently to carry tourists between Majorca and the Spanish mainland. Public transportation serves citizens and visitors, while roads provide access between the mountains and farmlands of the island's interior and the markets, towns and resorts on the coastline. Tourists demand modern communications, such as Internet access, and recreational facilities including scuba rentals. Residents use these infrastructure enhancements as well.
The highest peak on Mallorca is Puig Major at 1,445 metres. It is located in the Tramuntana mountain range in the north west of the island.

People want to visit Mallorca because:- Mallorca is a beautiful island.- Mallorca has a long and interesting history.- Mallorca has many strange landscapes and highways.- Mallorca has many beaches.- Mallorca has many monuments, ruins, churches, caves, castles.- You can eat and and drink in Mallorca to one's fill (German tourists exaggerate everyday).- Mallorca has a good climate.- The Mallorcan people is friendly.
Firstly, The largest proportion of tourists to Mallorca are Germans, This is an incentive for the inhabitants to concentrate on German instead of English. Secondly There are a lot of retired Germans living on the island as well as a lot of Germans who have migrated there to work in the tourist industry. It also depends on where in Mallorca you are. Some areas mostly receive British tourists and some mostly receive Germans. They usually don't tend to mix though.
In the island there are beaches wider or shorter, wider or narrower, popular or isolated, with fine sand. Many have adequate infrastructure for tourists.
I do not know much, but here is my answer. Mallorca faces water shortage because there is little rainfall, no rivers and because tourists come to Mallorca and waste and use up a lot of water. So say in 10 years, imagine what problems the country will have then, what with the weather getting hot and less rain falling.
