If the banshee hasn't been bored or altered then there is one ratio mix. The gas to oil ratio mix should be 40 to 1 .
Every 40 ounces of gasoline add 1 ounce of oil for a 40 to 1 mix. You do the math.
they have oil injection. but if your are not using it, 40:1 is a good ratio.
Originally it called for 25 to 1 30wt non detergent motor oil. DON'T mix modern 2 stroke oil at that ratio or it will smoke like crazy and foul the plugs. I run mine at 40 to 1 with no problems.
all 2 stroke outboards are 50:1 Older Johnson Evinrudes are 24:1 (pre 1965) Some Mercurys are 40:1
40 to 1
Generally the ratio the oil is blended for. Most are 40:1 or 50:1. Most containers of oil are made to mix with a certain amount of gas.
The perfect gas oil mixture for the jonsereds 49SP is 1:40 !
A 40:1 ratio would work out to 3-3.5 oz. of 2 cycle oil, to one gallon of fuel.
