The oldest continuously occupied settlement in the United States is Acoma, New Mexico. Acoma was first inhabited about 700 AD although modern archaeologists agree that it has most certainly been continuously occupied from at least 1075 A.D. to the present, making it America's oldest continually inhabited city.
