The Aegean Sea.
The primary bodies of water near Greece are the Aegean Sea to the east, between Greece and Turkey, and the Ionian Sea to the west, between Greece and Italy.
The Mycenaeans controlled the areas of Greece, Turkey, and the surrounding islands in the Aegean sea.
The seas surrounding ancient Greece influenced its development because they used the sea to establish colonies and trade with people from other lands.
I believe you meant "seas". The sea to Greece's west is the Ionian Sea, and that to its east is the Aegean Sea. Both of these are sometimes thought of as simply areas of the Mediterranean Sea, the main body of which lies to Greece's south, but they are most often considered distinct from the larger sea.
To the best of my knowledge, the major seas surrounding Greece are the Adriatic Sea in the west, the Mediterrenean Sea to the south, and the Aegian Sea to the east. There may be some regions of those seas that have been separately named, but I am unaware of them, if there are.
