Domain. There are only three of these.
Eubacteria
Archaebacteria
Eukarya
The only grouping of animals larger than a phylum in taxonomy is the kingdom. Kingdoms are broad categories that classify organisms into major groups based on their overall characteristics and evolutionary relationships.
The only grouping of animals larger than a phylum is the Kingdom, which is the highest taxonomic rank in the hierarchical classification of organisms.
The taxonomic ranking higher than phylum is kingdom. Kingdom is the second highest level of classification in the hierarchical system of taxonomy, with organisms classified into various kingdoms based on shared characteristics.
taxonomy, levels of classification: kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, species
hi my name is nbil einstein..based on what i have learn, classical taxonomy is use degree of morphological divergence to construct evolutionary diagram while cladistic taxonomy is only species sharing derived traits are group past a branch point for the last common ancestor and derived traits that evolve once, now shared only by the descendent of the ancestor of which it first evolve.
A domain is the highest level of taxonomy, including only the following three in the 3 domain standard system- Archea, Eukarya, and Bacteria. From there the taxonomy tree goes on to Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species.
The only kingdom that typically does not contain pathogens is the Protista kingdom. This kingdom contains a diverse group of organisms, including algae and protozoa, but very few are known to cause disease in humans.
Bacteria is the only kingdom which is prokaryotic as none of the species have a true nucleus.
A turtle's taxonomy is how it is classed. It is in the kingdom of amphibians. The phylum of chordate. The class of reptile. The order of tustudines. The family of Cheloniidae, which are sea turtles with shells covered with scutes (horny plates). They also could be in the family Dermochelyidae, in which they are covered with leathery skin. The only turtle in this category, though, is a leather-back turtle.
No you do not. In taxonomy, a populatio strictly applys to only living things. nonliving things are not included in taxonomy.
Call: 865-933-0400. Kingdom Heirs only tour from January to 2nd or 3rd week of March
Kingdoms are the broadest level of classification (if you discount domain which was only recently added to taxonomy) so they have the least similarities. Species is the most specific, ie the most similarities.
