Can't escape - a vain attempt is a depressing song. All of a vain attempts songs are depressing. All songs by Evanescence are depressing also.
I guess it could be a depressing to some people. But not everyone thinks that song is a depressing song.

Feeling gratitude (and appreciation) keeps you in an energetic state that is healthy for YOU. It is also a benefit to those around you, especially those you love. We often dwell in the opposite of gratitude, and especially when it comes to how we think of ourselves. I found this video this morning after a depressing dream that came from what I've been feeling about myself. Having this video come to me this morning is something I am grateful for as it completely changed my attitude for the better after the depressing dream that led to my depressing start to my day.

There is no formal word with a negative prefix for depressing. The informal term non-depressing is rarely seen, to indicate something that would ordinarily be expected to be depressing, but is not, e.g. a funeral.
To some people it may seem depressing, because the trees are starting to die, the weather is getting colder, etc. Winter is the more depressing season out of all of them though.
The word refreshing means new or fresh and different. An antonym is a word that means the opposite of the word you are using. Some antonyms of the word refreshing can be dull, boring, stale, or depressing.
