Look.This might be a bit late,but other people might need it.
If you have destroyed the wall to get the path you're supposed to go on on the invisible floor bit,there should be a slate around there that says the 'Grand order of the Temple of Courage' or something.It will tell you that the order is South,North,East,West.Follow that order for everything.This counts for the eyes as well.
