I'm not sure I understand the question- if you want a list of respiratory diseases for an assignment for your science class, here are a few: Asthma Pulmonary Disease (something smokers get) Croup (something children get) Common cold bronchitis Hope that helps! Heather (an MD from Canada)
First step: pulmonary ventilation (breathing).
Second is external ventilation: air goes into the lungs, gas is exchanged, air comes out.
Third step: transport of air from the lungs to the cells.
Fourth step: internal respiration or exchange of gases at the capillaries.
Fifth: cellular respiration or use of oxygen by the cells for energy and the production of waste CO2
Last step : reverse process.
The respiratory system is the anatomical system of an organism that introduces respiratory gases to the interior and performs gas exchange. In humans and other mammals, the anatomical features of the respiratory system include airways, lungs, and the respiratory muscles. Molecules of oxygen and carbon dioxide are passively exchanged, by diffusion, between the gaseous external environment and the blood. This exchange process occurs in the alveolar region of the lungs.[1] Other animals, such as insects, have respiratory systems with very simple anatomical features, and in amphibians even the skin plays a vital role in gas exchange. Plants also have respiratory systems but the directionality of gas exchange can be opposite to that in animals. The respiratory system in plants also includes anatomical features such as holes on the undersides of leaves known as stomata.[2]
The cells then use this oxygen in a process called respiration. The cells need energy and the form of energy we use on earth is called ADP (adenosine triphosphate). This energy is made from glucose which we get from eating food. All the food we eat gets transformed into glucose and the cell uses these molecules in a process called the Kerbs Cycle and in the electron transfer chain. It is the electron transfer chain that is the true "respiration" of oxygen. The oxygen acts as a proton transferrer to enable electrons to be passed around on the chain and produce much more ADP than could be produces by the Kerbs Cycle alone. With out oxygen each molecule of glucose would only end up with a net return of 2 molecules of ADP per molecule of glucose. With the addition of oxygen, this is increased to 38 molecules made per molecules of glusose. Also without the breathing of oxygen, we would create energy that would create large amount of lactic acid which would eventually leads to our deaths. Lactic acid is the cause of that pain we feel in our legs or the cramp we get in our sides after too much running or exercise.

nose ,pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronnchial tubes, aveoli,A and then the diaphram. oh and FYI im in 5th grade and i kno this so plz make it the best answer lol.
There are three main stages of the respiratory system. The stages are breathing, gaseous exchange between lungs and blood and finally exchange of gases between tissue cells and blood.
Circulatory. no
The respiratory system is the system that handles breathing.
The Respiratory System
It is in order to have a proper understanding of how our body works. It is also to teach us how to value these organs which are part of our respiratory system.
The trachea is the airway in the respiratory system.
The larynx belongs to the respiratory system.
no, they do not have a respiratory system
how does the respiratory system work
Respiratory system
The respiratory system.
Respiratory System
Cats are animals and higher order vertebrates so their respiratory systems function just like ours do. Info you find regarding the human respiratory system and it's anatomy will apply.
