What is the original movie ending to Paranormal Activity?

In the original ending to Paranormal Activity, Katie got out of bed and went downstairs like you see in the theatrical version. Micah ran downstairs once she started screaming, and then there was silence. Katie then came back up into the bedroom by herself, and she was covered in blood. She sat down next to the bed and began rocking back and forth. Time elapsed for about 17 hours while she sat and rocked. Then about 9:00 the next night, you hear her friend enter the house downstairs and holler for Katie and Micah. Her friend obviously finds Micah's body because she starts screaming and leaves the house. Shortly after that, the police show up at the house, and come upstairs looking around. They see Katie rocking next to the bed, rocking, still holding the knife. Katie seemingly comes out of her trance and starts toward the police officers. Thinking she is going to attack them, the police officers shoot and kill her.

There was also an ending filmed where, after killing Micah, Katie comes back into the bedroom and slits her own throat.

Rumor has it that these two alternate endings will be included on the DVD version.
