You simply cannot play other version of the game then the current one available of Runescape [2].
just runescape.com i think cause what runescape is now is runescape 2Runescape.com. It is sometimes known as version 2, but usually just as "RuneScape". The old version is now known as "RuneScape Classic".
Most likely you are refering to Runescape Classic, a version of the game that was released with horrible graphics.
Answer: Nope. Check link below for runescape official website Answer: The current version is RuneScape 2. However, it is officially simply called "RuneScape"; the old (version 1) is now called "RuneScape Classic". Check the RuneScape site (www.runescape.com) for any updates; if any other site offers you, for example, a "RuneScape 3", then it is probably a scam, meant to steal your legimitate RuneScape accounts. (You login, into the fake Web site, with your RuneScape password; they then use this information to steal your real RuneScape account.)
two. Runescape Classic, and the current version of runescape.
there is no download for runescape, it's 100% and in your browser
No. The updates are controlled from the server, and the server will only allow the newest version. You can request, on the forums, for specific features to be returned to the way they were before. This request may or may not be honored - after all, not all players will agree with what is the best feature set for RuneScape. On the other hand, there is an old version of RuneScape available, called RuneScape Classic. I believe this is only available for paying members.
There is no RuneScape 3 - the current version is RuneScape 2. There are, however, some scams that claim to be the next RuneScape version. Those are Web sites that want to steal your legitimate RuneScape account (when you "login" with your RuneScape username and password into the scam site).
RuneScape1 is RuneScape Classic. It is now only accessible to members. RuneScape2 is the RuneScape Version after Classic which is the version now. RuneScape3 is just a site where they steal your account.
as long as your java is of a new version, runescape should work fine.
You simply log into the official RuneScape site - www.runescape.com. When you choose the option to play, the latest version will automatically be fetched in your browser. Any claim of a newer version is not authorized by Jagex (the company that made RuneScape) and probably a scam (to steal your RuneScape password and thus your account or items in your account).
Runescape 1 is the first version of Runescape and used 2D figures. Runescape 2 and 3 are the same thing, it's just that Runescape updates recently changing graphics and stuff. Until they came out with Runescape 3 which just has an HD version. Also, Runescape 2/3 uses 3D instead of 2D figures.
