Roger moves away to Santa Fe, but when he returns, Mimi is missing. They look everywhere but can't find her. Eventually, Maureen arrives with Mimi who is quickly dying. Collins can't get hold of a doctor, so as Mimi breaths what looks like her last, Roger sings his song which he has finally found. She dies, but meets Angel in heaven who tells her to go back to Roger. She is resurrected and Mark shows his finished film.
