The intake manifold.
The distributor don't, But the ignition module that is bolted inside of the distributor does have a part in the fuel pump running.
The distributor is on the right side of the motor and it is bolted with two bolts front and back. This part is to be removed very slowly a little at a time on each side where it is bolted. you must remove the intake to remove the dist. completely.
A DISTRIBUTOR IS A PART ON A CAR ENGINE USED TO SYNCRONIZE THE ENGINES FIRING ORDER.
It is located in your distributor. Take off the distributor cap. Take off the rotor. You will see it underneath there, its got a magnet piece. Also, to make things more clear, It is where the electrical connection plugs into on the side of the distributor. That is the cam sensor.
Automatically becomes part of the car when it is bolted on. say good bye to it.
That is the top part of the engine. It is what the throttle body is bolted to.
Distributor = someone who distributes merchandise, wholesale products, etc. Distributer = a part of an automobile or car (like a regulator).
Not really. Altho it is bolted to the intake manifold it is considered part of the fuel system and not part of the engine.
On the back part of the engine behind the air cleaner housing
Automobile water pumps are usually bolted to the engine block. ---- some cars have the pump bolted to the timing cover, Eg. ford 302
It's bolted on the lower part of the engine block, close to the oil pan. Also close to where the transmission/transaxle is bolted to the engine block. Rear side of the engine (same side as the intake manifold). You have to push and hear the click before disconnecting the connector.
It should be part of the distributor.
