Three criminal offenses are present in the question. (1) The THEFT of the check (2) The FORGERY of the signature (3) the UTTERING/passing of the forged check. The theft of the check (because of its small monetary value) will be a misdemeanor. Depending upon the law of the jurisdiction in which this took place it could either be a felony or a misdemeanor depending on the amount the check was forged for. You will have to check your local state statutes to determine the penalties for these offenses.
Well... let's see.... you've got three clear separate offenses. (1) THEFT of the check (2) FORGERY of the victim's name (3) UTTERING(issuing) the forged check. Sounds pretty much like it's FELONY time to me.
depending on the value of the check it could be up to a state jail felony
going to jail.

If you do anything bad to the pharoah, it's most likely will be a death penalty.
REPTAR EATS YOU!
The penalty is the same for both, the morality is the same for both. If you live in a place where this is not true, find out how that can be changed.
yes but dont call the post office ,,,call the POLICE .stealing mail is serious enough now with all the tax checks in the mail.
Goaltender interference.
Possibly it is shocking. It may be considered a high voltage Crime or an electrifying felony. Watt the penalty is will be decided by Judge Ampere.
Stealing is illegal because you are taking something that is someone elses, they worked hard for it and someone is just taking it when they didnt work for it. if you have permission to have it then it is not stealing however.
You can receive jail time for bouncing checks, however specifics on sentences will vary from state-to-state.
